Obituary for Richard V. "Rick" Stubbe

Richard “Rick” V. Stubbe, age 71, a Manitowoc resident, died Friday morning, October 19, 2018 at his residence.
He was born on December 1, 1946 in New Orleans, LA., son of the late Adolph and Geneva (Mrozinski) Stubbe. Rick was a Veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On November 9, 1968 he married the former Karen Sieker at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Newtonburg. Rick was employed at Manitowoc Cranes, Eastside Auto and also Weyerhaeuser. He enjoyed camping, fishing, cards and time with his family.
Survivors include his wife: Karen Stubbe, Manitowoc; three sons and daughters-in-law: Scott & Carol Stubbe, Troy & Stacy Stubbe, Ryan & Shannon Stubbe, all of Manitowoc; special family friends: Kevin & Tammy Brunner, Cato; twelve grandchildren: Sawyer, Sydney, Alex, Nick, Jake, Ike, Brandon, Chelsea, Jayden, Shalyn, Skylar and Stevie Mae; one great grandson: Adam; his mother-in-law: Elaine Sieker, Manitowoc; one brother and sister-in-law: Robert & Jackie Stubbe, Manitowoc; a half brother: Rick Klein, Manitowoc; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Ann & Harold Luebke, Valders, Alan & Marlene Sieker, Manitowoc, Ronald & Doris Sieker, Green Bay and Terry & Linda Sieker, Greenleaf. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Judie & Robert Lischka and his father-in-law: Vincent Sieker.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Service will be the Rev. Tom Pankow and entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2018 until 10:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church or Manitowoc Lutheran High School.
