Keith A. Groelle, age 61, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Sunday morning, October 21, 2018 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc, surrounded by family members.
Keith was born on December 27, 1956 in Manitowoc, son of the late Reinhard and Elaine (Kaminski) Groelle. He attended Manitowoc Lincoln High School and was a graduate of the Tool and Die program at Lakeshore Technical School. Keith pursued a number of opportunities during his working career, including the installation of bleacher seating at stadiums and arenas, as well as a machinist in the manufacturing industry where he was proud of his employment with Tecumseh Manufacturing of New Holstein for many years. His most recent venture over the past several years was the operation of the Skinny Dip Inn, a local pub in Manitowoc. Keith enjoyed karaoke, shooting pool, watching the Packers, watching live bands in the park, and playing cards. He had many friends and family he spent time with enjoying these activities.
Survivors include two sisters and one brother-in-law: Linda Synon & Leland Reno, Arlette DeBaere; six brothers and four sisters-in-law: James Groelle, Robert (Catherine) Groelle, Patrick Groelle, Scott (Bonnie) Groelle, David (Linda) Groelle, Mike (Dodie) Groelle; as well as many nieces nephews and other relatives, and many friends, including special friends Jim Wilda and Cindy Nessman.
Keith was preceded in death by one sister: Melody Groelle Rathsack; one brother: Steven Groelle; one brother-in-law: Raymond Synon; and two sisters-in-law: Diana (DeeDee) Groelle and Susan Groelle.
Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2018 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th Street, Manitowoc. Burial of his cremated remains will occur at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2018. Friends may also call Thursday morning at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.
