Life Story for Elaine I. Deubler

Elaine I.  Deubler
Elaine I. Deubler, age 90, a resident of Laurel Grove Assisted Living, Manitowoc, WI, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018.

Elaine was born on August 18, 1928, in the Town of Branch, daughter of the late Louis and Alma (Havlichek) Stradal. She graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School in 1945. On August 30, 1947, she married Lester Deubler at First Reformed Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on December 18, 2012. Elaine worked from 1945 – 1947 for Dr. Teitgen. After she was married, Elaine was a stay at home mom and enjoyed taking care of her children, reading and doing crossword puzzles. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ. Elaine and Les loved taking bus trips all over the United States. She was also a volunteer at Aurora Hospital.

Survivors include her children: Barbara Parker, Janesville, WI; David (Tammy) Deubler, Kiel, WI; four grandchildren: Brian (Rachel) Wales, Oak Lawn, IL, Michael Wales, Middleton, WI, Allison (Mike) Baumgartner, Plainfield, IL, Melissa (Erik) Van Der Stuyf, Plainfield, IL; two great granddaughters: Charley and Frankey Baumgartner, Plainfield, IL; and her soon to be great grandson: Asher David Van Der Stuyf; a niece: Pam Oehldrich, Sheboygan, WI; and one nephew: Peter (Jennifer) Deubler, Germantown, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband: Lester; her parents; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Delores and Chester Deubler; and a son-in-law: Page Parker.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Judine Duerwaechter with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Elaine’s name to the Aurora Hospital Volunteer Program or St. John’s United Church of Christ, Manitowoc.
