Obituary for Craig A. Benson
Craig A. Benson, age 57, of Two Rivers passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
Craig was born July 30, 1963 in Ashland, son of the late John and June (Daniels) Benson. He was raised in Delta, WI and attended Ondossagon High School. Craig moved to Two Rivers over 25 years ago and called it home. He became an owner of his own business, Benson Roofing, Construction, Remodeling. He loved this line of work.
Craig was a hard working man who couldn’t sit still. He had a generous heart and would give his last to help anyone. Craig even opened his home to others who needed a place to stay. He had a huge sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. Craig touched many hearts. This is how he met his fiancé Sharon, who was his world. He became a family man and enjoyed family time, especially with the grandkids.
Survivors include his fiancé: Sharon Litel; future son and daughter: Craig and Sarah Litel; grandsons: Isaiah, Cameron, Jordan; sisters: Joy, Gina, Shae; brothers: Ted, Dale, Brad; as well as many adoring nieces, nephews and cousins. Craig was preceded in death by his parents John & June Benson, sister Lolly, and brother John Daniel.
Cremation has taken place at All- Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc and a Celebration of Craig’s Life will be held at a later date.
Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at 1420 22nd Street, Two Rivers, WI 54241 in Craig’s name.
The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers is assisting the Benson family with funeral arrangements.
