Life Story for Merlin R. Zimmer

Merlin R. Zimmer
Merlin R. Zimmer, age 75, a lifelong Manitowoc County resident, died Monday afternoon, May 7, 2018 at his residence.
Merlin was born on February 1, 1943, son of the late Raymond and Laurella (Burmeister) Zimmer. He was a graduate of Mishicot High School, Class of 1962. Merlin enjoyed working at General Telephone Company for many years. He also enjoyed polka music and dancing.
Survivors include the mother of his children: Irene (George) McCown; his children: Patricia (David) Copley, Peggy Zimmer, Paul (Rosey) Zimmer; eight grandchildren: Jason Brunmeier, Nicholas Zimmer, Brandon Zimmer, Bryanna (Brett) Jensen, Benjamin Lang, Duncan Copley, Abigail Copley, Natalee Zimmer; and one sister: Karen Hanson.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, May 14, 2018 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, town of Kossuth.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2018 until 11:45 a.m.
