Life Story for Roland John Peronto

Roland John  Peronto
It is with a heavy heart that the Peronto family informs you of the passing of Roland John Peronto.
Roland was born on December 5th, 1931 to the late Raymond and Grace (Gudwer) Peronto.
At the age of 17 Roland enlisted with the United States Army and fought in the Korean War. He was a Corporal serving in Company G of the First Calvary Eighth Regiment. Roland received a Bronze Star with Valor and Three Purple Hearts during his tour of duty.
On May 28th, 1955 he married the love of his life Elsie Jeanne (Burik) Peronto. Theirs was a forever love, the kind most people can only dream about. They were happily married for over 63 years. Roland enjoyed playing pool, fishing, watching Packer games, and spending time with his family and friends. He was employed as a supervisor at Mirro for 42 years until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife: Elsie Jeanne Peronto; one son: Laurence (Paola) Peronto; four daughters: Linda (Daniel) Reimer, Laurie (Keith) Magyar, Lisa (Daniel) Whitney, and Lorna (Jeffrey) Porodish. 12 grandchildren: Tara Belanger, Steven Reimer, Eric Reimer, Christopher Magyar, Andrew Magyar, Logan Magyar, Michael Peronto, Sean Peronto, Nicholas Whitney, Jacob Whitney, Kyle Porodish, Ryan Porodish; 14 great grandchildren: Hayley, Amaya, Leo, Bella, Adelynn, Myles, Weston, Shea, Roman, Arwin, Viggo, Lily, Grace, Ruby-Jeanne; four step grandchildren: Dennis Ford, Kevin Ford, Rachel Barylski, Christopher Porodish; two brothers: Raymond (Ramona) Peronto, Wayne Peronto. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Roland was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Grace Peronto and his dear sister, Eleanor Heyduk.
Roland was a kind gentle man who greeted everyone with a smile and kind words. He loved with his whole heart and was loved and respected by all who knew him.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 30th, 2018 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the services will be the Rev. Zachary DeArmond.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Friday, November 30th, 2018 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
