Obituary for Mildred N. Mott (Kotarek)

Mildred N. Mott, age 92, of Two Rivers passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Aurora Baycare Medical Center, Green Bay.
Mildred was born June 3, 1928 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Henry and Helen (Lehrman) Kotarek. She was a graduate of Washington High School with the Class of 1946. On June 12, 1948 she was united in marriage to Alvin Mott at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1999.
Mildred was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing cards, bus trips to the casino, was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crafts.
Survivors include her children: Michael (Vicki) Mott, Manitowoc; David (Janice) Mott, Rathdrum, ID; Susan (Michael) Werner, Kennicwick, WA; six grandchildren: Jennifer Mott, Jeffrey (Kirstin) Mott, Jessica Mott, Amy (James) Grant, Nicole (Richardo) Wilson, Rachel Werner; seven great grandchildren: Meghan Mott and Preston Schenk, Shayla Doony, Aiden and Alyssa Mott, Tobias and Micah Wilson; one sister: Carol Schmitz, Manitowoc; one brother: Henry (Pat) Kotarek, Manitowoc; one brother-in-law: Jerome Wanek, Two Rivers; one sister-in-law: Edith (Dale) Schroeder, Two Rivers; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alvin, a daughter-in-law Sandy Mott, a sister Vivian Wanek and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Stephen Kruschel with burial to take place at Forestview cemetery, Two Rivers immediately following services. A live version of the service will be streamed on the churches facebook page for those who wish not to attend personally.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church.
