Obituary for Gary G. Green

Gary G.  Green
Gary G. Green, age 71, of Newton, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Gary was born on September 7, 1949 in Manitowoc, son of the late Gordon T. and Betty (Wagner) Green. He was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1967. On October 6, 1979 he married the former Sharon Weina in Manitowoc. Gary worked as a Journeyman Machinist for numerous different places. He was a member of the former Pigeon Lake Sportsman’s Club and a current member of the Manitowoc Eagle’s Club. In his free time, Gary enjoyed bowling and softball.

Survivors include his wife: Sharon Green; two sons: Gordon T. (Ashley) Green and Wesley Green; three grandchildren: Bradley, McKenzie and Rowan; his siblings: Brad Green and Jodi (Wayne) Klein; his in-laws: Karen Klein, Sue (Bob) Wolfe, Diane (Guy) Farmwald; aunt and uncle: Roger “Bucky” and Edna Wagner. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother-in-law: Dale Klein; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Doris and Harold Weina.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 10:30 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM (Noon) on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home (928 S.14th Street), Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Dr. Matthew Sauer. Cremation will take place at All-Care Cremation Center following the service.
